Brooks McKinney

Brooks McKinney is a Los Angeles-based writer and digital storyteller who has been translating complex, technical concepts into “plain speak” language for readers of consumer, business and industry trade publications for more than 20 years. He has covered subjects ranging from microelectronics, space science and high energy lasers, to manned and autonomous military aircraft systems. He is also the creator of Persons of Infrastructure, a blog that profiles innovative people engaged in using technology to modernize and transform U.S. infrastructure. McKinney has been accredited in public relations (APR) since 2000, and remains active with the Public Relations Society of America. He is also an active runner and cyclist.
