Brooks McKinney, a Communications Fellow with Northrop Grumman, has been developing news, videos and feature stories about technology-driven subjects for more than 36 years. A specialist in media relations and news writing, Brooks graduated from Purdue University with a degree in physics. Over the years, he has driven the development and execution of communications campaigns around topics ranging from microelectronics, space science and high energy lasers, to manned and unmanned military strike systems including the B-2 stealth bomber, the X-47B unmanned combat air system, and the F-35 joint strike fighter. Brooks has been accredited in public relations (APR) with the Public Relations Society of America since 2000. When not writing, he can be found riding his bike or running the trails on the Palos Verdes Peninsula in Los Angeles.
